Napoli’s star striker, Victor Osimhen, has vehemently refuted recent transfer allegations made by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s agent, Mamuka Jugeli Soccernet.NG reports.
The Super Eagles forward, currently on international duty, expressed his frustration with Jugeli’s false claims regarding a potential move to Saudi Arabia in the summer.
Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia showcased their attacking prowess last season, contributing to over 70% of Napoli’s league goals. The duo played a pivotal role in Napoli clinching the Serie A title, with Osimhen also securing individual accolades, including the golden boot.
Amidst interest from various clubs, Osimhen chose to extend his stay in Naples, signing a new contract featuring a release clause of €130 million. However, Jugeli alleged that Osimhen was set to depart for Saudi Arabia for financial reasons, a claim promptly dismissed by the Nigerian striker.
Taking to his Instagram story, Osimhen didn’t mince his words: “Dear Mamuka Jugeli, you are a piece of filth and a disgrace. I’m embarrassed at your sense of reasoning. Dumb f**k! KEEP MY NAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH,” read the fiery post.
