Nigerian midfielder Victor Moses is set to bid farewell to the Spartak Moscow at the conclusion of the season. The information was confirmed to Match TV by the ROOF agency, which represents the player’s interests.
Moses will see his contract with Spartak expire in the summer of 2024, marking the end of his tenure with the team.
According to statements made to Match TV by the agency, Spartak Moscow has not presented Moses with any contract renewal offers, indicating an imminent departure from the club. The player’s current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €1,5 million.
Throughout the current season of the Russian Premier League, Moses has been a notable presence, featuring in 12 matches, where he secured one goal and provided one assist.
As of now, Spartak Moscow, led by manager Guillermo Abascal, sits in fifth place in the Russian Premier League standings after 18 rounds, trailing the league leaders, Krasnodar, by a margin of eight points.
