Turkish giants from Istanbul stand no chance of signing Akor Adams despite recent rumors suggesting otherwise, according to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Speculation linking the former Nigeria U20 international with a move to the Turkish giants has been deemed unfounded.
Contrary to claims made by Istanbul-based journalist Hakan Kurt, there have been no discussions between Besiktas and Adams’ representatives regarding a potential transfer. Additionally, Adams himself has expressed his lack of interest in joining any Turkish club next season.

Adams, who began his tenure at Montpellier with an impressive goal-scoring streak, has been a standout performer in the French Ligue 1, tallying seven goals in his first ten appearances. This achievement marks a milestone for Montpellier, with Adams being the first player since Olivier Giroud in the 2011-2012 season to achieve such a feat.
Since his arrival in France, the 24-year-old has contributed to twelve goals (10 goals, 2 assists) in 31 matches. His impressive form earned him a move to Montpellier last August for a fee of 4.5 million euros, with a contract extending until the end of the 2026-2027 season.
Although Adams attracted interest from clubs like West Ham United and AC Milan during the January transfer window, no deal materialized.
