Laziale are reportedly on the verge of signing Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, the one-capped Super Eagles midfielder, after his standout season with Turkish club Hatayspor, as per Soccernet.NG.
The 23-year-old’s remarkable performance has attracted significant interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia and Italy, with Lazio currently leading the race.
Dele-Bashiru joined Hatayspor on a free transfer last summer after leaving Sheffield Wednesday and quickly became a key player, contributing to seven goals in his first eight league matches. His overall tally for the season stands at eight goals and five assists across all competitions, earning him his first call-up to Nigeria’s senior national team, where he debuted in a friendly against Mozambique.
