Liverpool has entered the competition with Chelsea and Manchester United to sign former Super Eagles invitee Michael Olise, according to footballtransfers.com.
The Crystal Palace forward is seen as a potential successor to Mohamed Salah, who is nearing the end of his contract at Anfield. Despite interest from the Saudi Pro League, Liverpool plans to retain Salah this summer but is preparing for the future.

Alongside Olise, Liverpool has also shown interest in PSV forward Johan Bakayoko, currently playing for Belgium in the 2024 European Championship. The main challenge for Liverpool is balancing game time for Olise while Salah remains a key player.
Chelsea and Manchester United might offer Olise more playing opportunities, giving them an edge in the transfer race. The decision will ultimately hinge on which club meets Olise’s €70 million release clause and the player’s preference.
