Three Turkish clubs—Kocaelispor, Besiktas, and Fenerbahce—have entered talks with Nigerian international forward Henry Onyekuru over a potential transfer, as per Footy-Africa.
Onyekuru will become a free agent on June 30 as his contract with Saudi Pro League side Al-Fayha expires. With no renewal talks underway, he is set to leave in search of a new challenge ahead of next season.
A source revealed that all three Turkish sides have contacted his representatives at Foot&Ball to discuss personal terms and are ready to move quickly. Kocaelispor are offering a four-year deal, while Besiktas and Fenerbahce have proposed three-year contracts.
The 28-year-old joined Al-Fayha from Adana Demirspor in 2023 and leaves after 38 games, 11 goals, and 3 assists. Last season, he managed only four appearances. At Adana, he scored eight goals and added two
assists in 30 matches.
Onyekuru—valued at €3 million by Transfermarkt—has previously played for Olympiacos, Monaco, Everton, and Belgian sides Anderlecht and KAS Eupen. Internationally, he has 15 caps for Nigeria, with one goal and two assists.
