Hungarian champions Ferencvárosi TC are among several clubs interested in signing Nigerian striker Muhamed Tijani following his impressive loan spell with Nyíregyháza Spartacus FC, according to Footy-Africa.
Tijani is expected to return to SK Slavia Prague at the end of the season after a prolific six-month spell in Hungary, although his long-term future in Prague remains uncertain.
The 25-year-old forward scored eight goals and provided three assists in just 14 appearances for Nyíregyháza, form that has attracted growing interest across the Hungarian top flight.
Nyíregyháza are understood to be keen on extending Tijani’s stay, but Slavia Prague are reportedly pushing for a permanent transfer worth around €300,000 rather than another loan arrangement.
Ferencvaros have now emerged as serious contenders as they look to strengthen their attacking options before the new campaign.
A source close to Tijani’s representatives at Diamond Sports confirmed that the Budapest-based side have already made a concrete approach for the Nigerian striker:
“The main issue is that Slavia want a permanent sale this summer and are not considering another loan deal. There is also interest from Debrecen and MTK Budapest, although no formal offers have been submitted so far.”
Despite still having two years remaining on his contract with Slavia Prague, Tijani is increasingly expected to leave the Czech club during the summer transfer window.
The striker joined Slavia from FC Baník Ostrava in 2023 but has struggled to establish himself in Prague, making his resurgence in Hungary an important turning point in his career.
