Reports in Italy suggest Inter are assessing their goalkeeping options after concerns over Josep Martinez’s recent performances. Okoye is among the players being considered, although the interest has not developed into negotiations.
According to Italian media reports, Udinese’s asking price could complicate a deal. Okoye is under contract until June 2028, leaving the club under little pressure to sell.
Inter were previously linked with the 26-year-old in 2024, but that move failed to materialise before they signed Martinez from Genoa.
Any January move may depend on Martinez’s form and whether Inter are willing to meet Udinese’s valuation. For now, Okoye remains a reported target rather than the subject of an active transfer bid.
A move to Inter could raise the Super Eagles goalkeeper’s profile, but regular first-team football would remain a key consideration as he looks to strengthen his position with Nigeria.
