In an exclusive interview with Kick Off Nigeria, 20-year-old Nigerian midfielder Moses David opened up about his decision to join Czech giants Slavia Prague.
The talented player, signed from MFK Karvina for an undisclosed fee, will officially link up with the Prague-based team in January.
David described his move to Slavia Prague as a proud milestone in his career, highlighting the club’s strong history with Nigerian players and their consistent participation in European competitions as major reasons for his decision.
“I really like their style of play,” David explained. “If you look at their history with Nigerian players, it played a key role in my decision. Their participation in European competitions was another major reason I opted for the club.”
Since making his debut for MFK Karvina, David has been a standout performer, playing a crucial role in the club’s fight to avoid relegation during the 2023/24 season.
With this move, the highly-rated midfielder will join compatriots Boluwatife Ogunbiyi and Igoh Ogbu, further solidifying Slavia Prague’s connection with Nigerian football talent.
David’s addition to the team is seen as a significant boost, both for Slavia Prague’s midfield and their ambitions in domestic and European competitions.
