Nigerian defender Abraham Nwankwo is keen on leaving Slovenian club NK Domžale in the summer transfer window, as per Kick Off Nigeria sources.
The 23-year-old defender, whose planned move in the January transfer window was blocked by his club, is determined to secure a transfer in the summer.
Amid transfer speculations, the rock-solid Nigerian defender’s winter transfer failed to materialize as NK Domžale rejected offers, declaring that he was not for sale.
According to Kick Off Nigeria sources, Nwankwo has resolved to leave the Slovenian league and part ways with NK Domžale for multiple reasons, primarily personal ones, which have influenced his decision to quit the club.
The Nigerian player has continued to make a significant impact at NK Domžale, making 18 appearances in the 2024/2025 season. He joined the club in 2022 after a stint in the Turkish league with Balıkesirspor.
According to Transfermarkt, the Nigerian defender is currently valued at approximately €300,000.
