Seventeen-year-old defender Honest Ahanor is attracting interest from across Europe after an impressive first season with Atalanta BC.
The Nigeria youth international has emerged as one of the most closely watched young centre-backs in Serie A, with reports linking him to several Premier League and European clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.
Premier League and La Liga interest
Scouts from Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are understood to have monitored Ahanor in recent months.
Spanish side Atletico Madrid are also following his development as they assess defensive reinforcements.
In Italy, Napoli have identified Ahanor as a potential target, with head coach Antonio Conte reportedly keen on strengthening his back line. AC Milan, who attempted to sign the defender last summer before Atalanta secured his signature, remain attentive to his situation.

Atalanta face summer decision
Ahanor is under contract in Bergamo until 2028, placing Atalanta in a strong negotiating position. However, growing interest from leading European clubs could test their resolve.
Valued at around €25m, the Aversa-born defender is viewed as one of Italy’s most promising young talents, with his composure and physical presence drawing particular praise.
With the summer transfer window approaching, Atalanta may soon face significant offers for one of their most prized prospects.
