Market Value: Growth after Meeting with Portuguese Coach
Throughout his career at Arsenal F.C., Iwobi’s transfer value constantly rose. Over two seasons, his market value increased tenfold. However, after moving to Everton F.C., his transfer value began to decline due to unstable results of the Liverpool-based team and his loss of status as a key player.
Nonetheless, in the 2022/2023 season, Iwobi returned to the starting lineup and played in every Premier League match, attracting the attention of Fulham F.C. and following his former coach Marco Silva. By the time he returned to London, Iwobi’s market value had increased by more than one and a half times. Currently, Transfermarkt values Iwobi’s transfer at €28 million, making him the second most expensive player at the English club.
