FC Barcelona and Villarreal CF are tracking highly rated Nigerian youngster Joshua Chikma, who has impressed in youth football in Spain, according to Africafoot.
The 11-year-old attacking midfielder, currently with Atlètic Segre, has scored 54 goals in 20 matches this season in the Alevi U-12 Championship.
Chikma has already spent time on trial with Villarreal and is understood to have also attracted interest from Barcelona, where he could be offered the chance to join the club’s renowned La Masia academy.
The youngster is regarded as one of the standout talents in his age group, with his performances drawing attention from leading academies across Spain.
