Italian Serie B club Bari is on the verge of securing the loan signing of left-footed Nigerian central defender Nosa Obaretin from Napoli, according to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio.
Renowned transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Obaretin will spend the upcoming season with Bari.
Obaretin, who impressed during his loan spell at Serie C team Trento last season, played 35 games and scored twice. The 21-year-old defender caught the eye of former Napoli boss Rudy Garcia during the preparations for the 2023-2024 season before being loaned out to Trento.
Standing at 1.89 meters, he is versatile, capable of playing as a left-sided central defender in a back three or as a left-back in a back four.
