Nigerian forward Obah Prosper’s time at Portuguese club FC Vizela may be nearing its end, as the club has officially indicated a willingness to sell the striker, Kick Off Nigeria has gathered.
With just one year remaining on the 21-year-old’s contract, FC Vizela is looking to cash in on the Nigerian international this summer—rather than risk losing him on a free transfer in 2025.
Obah is now expected to take on a new challenge in a different league after two years in Portugal, having joined Vizela in 2022 upon his arrival in Europe.
Currently in top form, Obah has been instrumental to FC Vizela’s impressive run in the Portuguese Liga 2, where the club sits second on the table after Matchday 27. His contributions have caught the attention of several clubs, with transfer interest continuing to grow.
Valued at €700,000 on Transfermarkt, Obah has made 25 appearances in the 2024/25 Liga 2 season, scoring five goals and providing four assists.
Born on November 24, 2003, Obah began his career with Nigerian side Supreme Kings Football Club before moving to Portugal to sign his first professional contract with FC Vizela in 2022. He initially joined the club’s U23 squad but quickly rose through the ranks to establish himself as a regular in the senior team.
