Nigerian midfielder Daniel Daga has completed the first part of his medicals with Molde FK ahead of finalizing his transfer to the Norwegian club, Kick Off Nigeria reports.
The midfielder, already in Norway, penned a farewell letter to his former club, Enyimba FC, and its supporters following a loan spell with the team, signaling his move to Molde FK.
With an agreed contract in place, Daga is expected to complete the transfer after turning 18 on January 10.
The 2007-born youngster began his football career with the Nigerian club Carabana FC before earning promotion to FC Rocket in 2022.
Daga’s exceptional talent caught the attention of the Nigerian national team, leading to his participation with the Under-20 squad in the WAFU tournament and the Under-20 World Cup in Argentina.
After a failed move to English Premier League side Watford FC, the Nigerian prodigy is set to be unveiled as a Molde FK player in the coming weeks.
