The Swiss club has made a significant addition to their offensive lineup by signing Emmanuel Ernest, a prolific center forward from the Northern Cypriot club Cetinkaya TSK.
According to Aarau’s official website the 23-year-old Nigerian-Liberian striker has inked a two-year deal until June 2026 with an option to extend. Emmanuel Ernest will brings a formidable physical presence to the club’s attacking potential.
His journey to Europe began at the Christ Ambassador Sporting Academy in Nigeria, leading him to Romania where he played for CS Sporting Rosiori, FC Rapid Bucuresti, FC Ripensia Timisoara, and the second team of FC Arges Pitesti.
His career further extended to Northern Cyprus, where he made a remarkable impact with Hamitköy SHSK and Cetinkaya TSK, scoring 29 goals and providing seven assists in the latest season. He also had a brief stint with Al-Orooba in the United Arab Emirates.

Ernest, who will wear the number 24 jersey, is expected to bring his goal-scoring prowess and assist-making ability to Aarau, boosting the team’s chances in the upcoming season. His versatility and experience across various leagues are anticipated to be valuable assets for the club.
