FC Midtjylland has announced the signing of 21-year-old goalkeeper Ovie Ejeheri on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Arsenal FC, according to the Danish club official website.
The goalkeeper signed a five-year-long deal. Standing at 1.95 meters tall, Ejeheri is expected to bring significant height and presence to the Midtjylland squad.
Ejeheri, 21, who played for Arsenal’s U18 and U21 teams, is known for his strong reactions and commanding presence in the penalty area. Football director Peter Sand praised Ejeheri’s physical and charismatic attributes, expressing confidence that he will integrate well with the team.

The English-born keeper with Nigerian roots has also had loan spells at Chelmsford City and Finnish club SJK Seinäjoki, where he impressed with nine clean sheets in 14 matches last season.
