Prolific Nigerian striker Uma Bala Mohammed is attracting interest from top clubs in Europe following the expiration of his contract with Finnish club Turun Palloseura at the end of the season, Kickoff Nigeria reports.
Born on March 7, 1998, the 26-year-old Nigerian forward’s stint with Turun Palloseura has concluded after contract renewal negotiations between the two parties fell through.
Now a free agent, Bala has sparked interest from clubs in Finland as well as in the USL Championship in the USA, his agent revealed.
“Umar Bala is currently a free agent, and we have received a plethora of offers for him, particularly from clubs in Finland and the USL Championship,” the player’s agent Nacho Lopez confirmed. “We will review the options available and make a decision in the coming weeks.”
During his two-year stint with Turun Palloseura, the Nigerian forward scored 16 goals in 57 appearances for the club.
