The Italian giants are reportedly prepared to offer €85 million to secure the services of Victor Osimhen from Napoli, surpassing the €75 million release clause that applies exclusively to clubs outside Italy, as per Football Italia.
As the clause is not valid for Serie A teams, Juventus must negotiate directly with Napoli, who retain the discretion to accept or reject the offer.
Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has delivered an impressive performance this season, netting 33 goals in 37 appearances across all competitions. His prolific scoring has attracted interest from various clubs, including Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, who are reportedly willing to meet his release clause and offer a lucrative salary package.
Despite Juventus’s willingness to exceed the release clause, Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has previously expressed reluctance to sell Osimhen to a domestic rival, stating he would “never” negotiate with Juventus for the striker.
The outcome of this potential transfer remains uncertain, hinging on Napoli’s decision to accept Juventus’s offer and Osimhen’s own preferences amid interest from multiple clubs across Europe and Asia.
