Ementa, 21, has marked his presence in the Danish league with eight goals in 25 matches this season. Gent is expected to pay one million euros for his services—a significant increase from the amount Viborg paid Aalborg BK last year. According to Transfermarkt, his current marklet value is estimated at €1 million.
According to several reports, negotiations with both Viborg and Ementa are progressing favorably.Ementa, who stands tall at 2.02 meters, is often compared to Paul Onuachu, who used to play in Belgium, due to his height and playing style.

Onuachu, had a successful tenure at Genk after transferring from a Danish club, scoring 85 goals in 134 matches. Gent hopes Ementa can mirror these feats.
The need for new forwards at Gent has intensified following the departures of Gift Orban to Lyon and Hugo Cuypers to Chicago Fire last winter, which collectively brought in 34 million euros. Additionally, the contract of veteran forward Laurent Depoitre will not be extended past the current season.
This transfer could potentially fill the void left by Orban and add a robust option in Gent’s attack, enhancing their competitiveness in both domestic and European competitions.
