Spanish Segunda División club Levante UD remains keen on signing 20-year-old Nigerian winger Ehije Ukaki from Bulgarian side Botev Plovdiv, after initially showing interest during the January transfer window, Kick Off Nigeria has gathered.

Despite failing to secure a deal in January, Levante has not given up on acquiring the highly-rated Nigerian talent. However, they face stiff competition from other clubs also monitoring the promising winger.

Born on October 2, 2004, Ukaki began his football journey with Collin Edwin Football Club before securing a move to Russian side FDC Vista, where he honed his skills. He later joined Botev Plovdiv in 2023, marking the start of his European career.
In his debut season in the Bulgarian top flight, Ukaki played a crucial role in helping Botev Plovdiv win the Bulgarian Cup, securing the club a place in the UEFA Europa League qualifiers.
