Liverpool F.C. are planning summer talks with Caleb Yirenkyi as they consider strengthening their midfield ahead of the next transfer window.
The Premier League champions are expected to make several signings, with central midfield among the positions under review by owners Fenway Sports Group.
Yirenkyi, who plays for FC Nordsjælland, has emerged as a potential target after attracting attention with his performances in Denmark. Reports suggest Liverpool attempted to sign the Ghana international in January and remain keen on a future move.
Club representatives are understood to be planning discussions with the player’s camp during the March international break as they present their plans for his development. The 20-year-old is valued for his versatility, with the ability to operate in several midfield roles and occasionally at full-back.

Liverpool are also assessing options to strengthen their attack. The club have shown interest in Moussa Diaby, currently at Al‑Ittihad Club, as they look at potential long-term successors to Mohamed Salah. The French winger previously impressed at Aston Villa F.C. and could reportedly be available for around €40m.
Another player being monitored is Maghnes Akliouche of AS Monaco FC. The 24-year-old winger has contributed six goals and seven assists in 34 appearances this season and has attracted interest from several clubs.
Liverpool scouts are believed to have watched Akliouche recently during Monaco’s win over Paris Saint‑Germain F.C. as the club continue to assess potential additions ahead of the summer window.
