Nigerian forward Ibrahim Mustapha has completed a move to Albanian club KF Bylis from Nigeria Professional Football League side El-Kanemi Warriors.
The 28-year-old striker joined KF Bylis during the winter transfer window as the club looks to strengthen its squad in pursuit of the Albanian Superliga title.
In an exclusive interview with Kick Off Nigeria, FIFA-licensed agent Ramone Remmie Ashiru confirmed the transfer and highlighted Mustapha’s value to the team.
“Mustapha is a prolific striker who has proven his goal-scoring ability in different leagues. His arrival at Bylis is a major boost because he will bring experience and maturity—qualities that are crucial for any ambitious club,”Ashiru stated.
He also revealed that Mustapha had offers from other leagues but ultimately chose Bylis for its competitive project.
“Bylis’ offer and project convinced us that this is the right place for Mustapha. We had offers from a UAE club, as well as interest from Malaysia and Vietnam, but we chose KF Bylis because he has a greater chance of progression here,” he added.
“The club is highly ambitious this season, and I know Ibrahim will be a key addition to their success story.”
Mustapha, who will be teaming up with a fellow Nigerian at KF Bylis, has played for several clubs in Nigeria, including Enyimba FC, Plateau United, Kano Pillars, and El-Kanemi Warriors. He also gained international experience in the UAE Pro League with Dibba Al-Hisn SC and in the Sudanese League with Al-Hilal Club (Omdurman).
With his wealth of experience, the Super Eagles B striker will be hoping to make an immediate impact in Albania’s top flight.
