Nigerian striker Offor Chinonso is close to joining Russian Premier League side FC Rostov after agreeing personal terms, as per Footy Africa.
Following a standout debut season in Bulgaria with FC Arda Kardzhali—where he scored eight goals and provided five assists in 29 appearances—Chinonso has attracted strong interest. His contributions helped the club secure a UEFA Conference League qualifying spot.
Rostov are now in advanced talks with Arda to finalise the transfer fee. A January move to Ukrainian club FC LNZ Cherkasy previously collapsed due to financial disagreements.
The 25-year-old forward, who has played for clubs in Latvia, the U.S., Canada, and Belgium, is expected to complete the move soon as Rostov look to bolster their attack ahead of the new season.
