Nigerian winger Saliman Kayode has completed a loan move to Kazakhstani club Ordabasy Shymkent from Slovak club Železiarne Podbrezová, Kick Off Nigeria source’s have exclusively learned.
The Nigerian speedster, who is already with the on trials at the time of this report, is expected to be unveiled in the coming days, with all necessary documents in place between the two clubs.
The 22-year-old Nigerian youngster had his breakthrough with Bosnia and Herzegovina club FK Zvijezda 09 in 2023. His outstanding performances there attracted interest from several clubs before he joined Slovak side Železiarne Podbrezová in 2024.
With limited game time, Kayode managed just six appearances in the Slovak Niké Liga, prompting his loan move to Kazakhstani side Ordabasy Shymkent. The Nigerian winger is expected to play a key role for the team in the upcoming Kazakhstan Premier League season.
