In the wake of increasing speculation surrounding Kylian Mbappe’s anticipated departure to Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is reportedly setting their sights on Serie A talents Victor Osimhen and Rafael Leao to fill the void left by the French superstar, as reported by Goal.
According to reports from La Repubblica, PSG has initiated plans to secure replacements for Mbappe, who is expected to make his move to La Liga once his contract with PSG concludes in June. Both Leao and Osimhen have showcased commendable performances in Serie A this season, contributing significantly to their respective teams’ campaigns.
Rafael Leao, the AC Milan forward, appears to be PSG’s top choice to succeed Mbappe. However, acquiring the Portuguese talent comes with a hefty price tag, as PSG would need to meet Leao’s release clause of €175 million.
In addition to Leao, PSG is also considering Napoli’s Victor Osimhen as a potential reinforcement for their attacking lineup. Despite Osimhen’s recent contract extension with Napoli, PSG remains undeterred, willing to activate his release clause set at €130 million.
