Rabiu began his professional career with Italian club Modena in 2018, contributing significantly to their promotion to Serie C and subsequently to Serie B. However, he faced challenges and eventually went on loan to Serie C side Grosseto in 2022. Upon his return, he mutually terminated his contract with Modena, making a move to Serie C Club Viterbese in January 2023 before joining Skënderbeu this summer.
Reflecting on his career, Rabiu thanked God for his journey, acknowledging a minor issue with the management during his time with Modena, which led to his loan move. He discussed facing injury issues in the 2021-2022 period but emphasized that his current stint with Skënderbeu has been positive, signing a two-year contract with the Albanian side.
When questioned about playing in the Albanian League, Rabiu highlighted the presence of Africans, including Nigerians, in the league, stating that his club boasts 5-6 Nigerian players who contribute significantly.
Looking ahead, Rabiu expressed his ambition to play in one of the top 5 European leagues within the next two years, stating, “In Shaa Allah,” indicating his trust in God for a successful future. He discussed aiming for success with Skënderbeu, eyeing a potential spot in the top three or four of the league to secure a place in European competitions.
Rabiu has made an impressive start with Skënderbeu, featuring in all of the club’s games so far.
