Danish club Randers FC has rejected an outright sale offer from Norwegian side Idrettsklubben Start for their promising 20-year-old Nigerian winger, Mustapha Isah, according to Kick Off Nigeria.
Idrettsklubben Start’s attempt to secure Mustapha Isah Ubandoma after an impressive loan spell has fallen through, as Randers FC insists the Nigerian winger is not for sale.
Ubandoma joined Randers FC from Nigerian club HB Football Club in 2023. However, his inability to break into the Randers first team after his promotion led to a loan move to Idrettsklubben Start, where he was given the opportunity to gain experience and enjoy more playing time.
During his time with Idrettsklubben Start, Ubandoma blossomed into one of the most feared wingers in the Norwegian second-tier league, scoring six goals in 12 matches. According to Transfermarkt the player’s current value is estimated at €400,000.
The Nigerian youngster’s impressive form has attracted interest from several clubs, but Randers FC remains determined to keep hold of him. Ubandoma has already returned to his parent club, Randers FC, ahead of the new season.
