Sadiq, who joined Real Sociedad from Almeria two years ago for a club-record €20 million, has had a challenging time at the club. Despite a promising start, scoring on his debut, he suffered a cruciate ligament tear in his second game, sidelining him for the rest of the season.
Last season, Sadiq returned to action but struggled to make an impact, with his opportunities diminishing towards the end of the campaign. Amid talks of a possible exit, with Sevilla, Getafe, and Valencia showing interest, Real Sociedad’s coach Imanol Alguacil has praised Sadiq, hinting at a possible second chance.
