West Ham United, Napoli and Galatasaray are among the clubs reported to be monitoring Union Saint-Gilloise Canadian forward of Nigerian descent Promise David.
The 23-year-old Canadian-Nigerian striker has scored 15 goals in all competitions this season, emerging as one of the standout performers in the Belgian top flight since joining Union Saint-Gilloise in the summer of 2024.
Union moved to secure David’s long-term future earlier this season, tying him down to a contract until 2029.
The Brussels-based club rejected an offer of around €8m from Besiktas during the winter transfer window and are now understood to value the striker between €15m and €25m.
Such a fee would represent a significant return for a player whose route to the top level has been unconventional, having previously played in Malta and Estonia before breaking through in Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League.
David has scored nine league goals in 23 appearances this term and is currently valued at €13m, according to Transfermarkt estimates.
Union next face Royal Antwerp as they continue their domestic campaign, with growing attention on whether interest in David intensifies ahead of the summer transfer window.
