Crystal Palace is reportedly considering a move for Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman as part of their squad revamp for the upcoming season, according to Soccernet NG.
The English Premier League club, currently managed by Oliver Glasner, sits at 14th in the league with 33 points from 32 matches. Despite a decent performance this season, Palace is aiming for improvements and may need to balance the books by offloading some players.
Potential departures could include Eberechi Eze or Michael Olise, as the club seeks to fund new signings without the lavish spending powers of Europe’s elite teams.
The Eagles are particularly keen to bolster their attack, with long-time forward Jordan Ayew and possibly Jean-Philippe Mateta or Odsonne Edouard on the list of potential exits. Lookman, who has been a standout performer in Serie A, appears to be a key target.
The Nigerian international has notched eight goals and four assists in 25 appearances for Atalanta this season, following a previous campaign tally of 13 goals and six assists.
Currently Transfermarkt estimates the player’s market value at €30 million and his salary is reported to be around €2,3 million. Lookman’s acquisition would fit within Crystal Palace’s budget constraints.

His proven track record in the Premier League, including stints at Leicester City, Everton, and Fulham, makes him an attractive option for the Eagles, who are confident in his desire to return to English football.
