Ademola Lookman has set his sights on a summer exit from Atalanta, with the Nigerian forward pushing for a move away from Bergamo ahead of the 2025/26 season.
According to Spanish journalist Ferran Martínez, Lookman is eager to take the next step in his career and has made his intentions clear to leave the Serie A side in the upcoming transfer window.
With just one year left on his contract, Atalanta are reportedly willing to negotiate his departure, with a potential asking price in the region of €30 million.

The 26-year-old’s ambition is drawing interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs. Paris Saint-Germain are said to be keen, while Barcelona have also identified Lookman as a potential target. Although the winger is “delighted” by the idea of playing at Camp Nou, Barça currently have other priorities in the market, which could delay or complicate any potential deal.
Still, Lookman’s desire to leave Atalanta appears to be firm. After two productive seasons in Italy—most notably a breakout 2022/23 campaign—he now seems ready to embrace a new challenge on a bigger stage.
Mundo Deportivo confirmed Barcelona’s interest, noting that Lookman is one of the attacking profiles being monitored by the Catalan club as they assess their options ahead of the summer window.
With suitors lining up and contract time ticking down, all signs point toward a likely transfer. The player wants out, the market is interested, and Atalanta may be willing to sell—setting the stage for a potentially high-profile move in the coming months.
