Former Nigeria striker Tosin Dosunmu says Rafiu Durosinmi has similarities with Victor Osimhen after the forward made a flying start to his Genk career.
Durosinmi, 23, has scored five goals in six Belgian Pro League appearances since joining Genk from Pisa during the summer.
The Nigerian has scored in four consecutive league matches and currently shares top spot in the Belgian scoring charts.
Dosunmu, who represents Durosinmi, believes the striker’s aerial ability is particularly reminiscent of Victor Osimhen.
“Rafiu sometimes reminds me a bit of Victor Osimhen, with the difference that he is really very strong in the air,” Dosunmu told Tribal Football.
However, Dosunmu says Durosinmi still has work to do as he settles into his new club, particularly in terms of fitness and developing an understanding with his team-mates.

The striker joined Pisa in January but struggled for regular impact before moving to Genk, where his early-season form has quickly put him back in the spotlight.
Durosinmi made his Nigeria debut in May and could be involved alongside Osimhen in the Super Eagles’ upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Before the international break, he will aim to continue his goalscoring run when Genk face Belgian champions Club Brugge.
