The London-based Premier league club is planning a January move for Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare, former Trabzonspor player currently shining at Belgian club Genk, as per Haber.
The 23-year-old has impressed with six goals in 10 games this season, following a 15-goal campaign last year. His performances have caught the attention of Fulham manager Marco Silva, who is keen to strengthen his attack.
Arokodare, standing at 1.98 meters, would add a strong physical presence to Fulham’s forward line. If signed, he would join fellow Nigerians Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey at the Premier League club. Despite good form from current strikers Raul Jimenez and Rodrigo Muniz, Fulham are eager to bring in a powerful No. 9.
A fan of Nigerian star Victor Osimhen, Arokodare has expressed admiration for his fellow striker and remains hopeful for his own chance with the Nigerian national team. While he hasn’t yet been called up, he believes his time will come if he continues to perform.
Fulham’s pursuit of Arokodare shows their intent to strengthen their squad in the upcoming transfer window.
