Ryan Alebiosu is attracting interest from several clubs after an impressive season with Blackburn Rovers, with Rangers FC reportedly leading the race for the Nigerian defender.
The 24-year-old right-back registered five assists in 39 Championship appearances during the 2025-26 campaign, establishing himself as one of Blackburn’s standout performers.
According to reports, Blackburn value Alebiosu at between £3m and £5m despite the defender being under contract until 2028. The Championship side are open to offers but are not under pressure to sell.
Rangers are understood to be preparing a formal bid as they look to strengthen at right-back ahead of the new season. The Scottish giants reportedly view Alebiosu as a priority transfer target and are confident of agreeing personal terms with the player.
Interest has also emerged from West Ham United and Genoa CFC, both of whom have monitored the defender’s progress in recent months.
Known for his pace, athleticism and attacking threat, Alebiosu has become one of the most highly rated full-backs in the Championship, making him a sought-after target ahead of the summer transfer window.
