Nigerian youngster Orseer Achihi has completed a transfer from a Nigerian club to Belgian side Royal Antwerp, signing a long-term contract for an undisclosed fee.
The talented midfielder, who impressed the Royal Antwerp hierarchy, has inked a long-term deal with the Belgian giants and is expected to begin his professional career with Royal Antwerp B.
Born on September 19, 2006, the 18-year-old Nigerian started his football journey with a Nigerian-based club before being spotted by a Belgian scout during a scouting tournament organized by prominent Nigerian-Norwegian super agent Atta Aneke.
Achihi’s exceptional talent earned him a trial period with Royal Antwerp, where he impressed enough to secure a long-term contract at Bosuilstadion.
With his move to Royal Antwerp, Achihi follows in the footsteps of Nigerian stars such as Chidera Ejuke, Alhassan Yusuf, and Udo Victor, who have also played for the Belgian giants.
