The Nigerian Super star Victor Osimhen has become one of the hottest names in European football, but his immediate future appears to remain with Napoli. Despite a €70 million verbal offer from Manchester United, the Nigerian striker has reportedly declined to engage in talks about a potential move, as per Haber Sari Kirmizi.
Manchester United’s Ambitious Bid
As Manchester United looks to strengthen their attack, they made a significant €70 million verbal offer to Napoli for Osimhen. The Premier League giants view the Nigerian as the ideal addition to their squad, given his incredible scoring ability and physical presence.

However, Osimhen has so far shown little interest in leaving Napoli. While United’s offer signals their intent, convincing Osimhen to make the move is proving to be a challenging task.
Napoli’s Firm Stance and Osimhen’s Position
Napoli has no intention of letting their star forward leave mid-season without a substantial offer. Representatives from the Italian club even traveled to Istanbul recently in an attempt to discuss Osimhen’s future with him directly. Despite their efforts, the striker refused to entertain the idea of a transfer at this time.
“Osimhen’s stance is clear: ‘Convince me if you can,’” reported journalist Kağan Dursun. With a release clause set to become active in January, there’s no guarantee that Osimhen will remain at Napoli, but his decision will depend on the right offer and project.
