Arsenal transfer expert Charles Watts has dismissed speculation linking Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen with a summer move to the Emirates, suggesting the club is not prioritizing the Nigerian forward.
Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has been in sensational form this season, scoring 22 goals and providing five assists in 28 matches. With his departure from Napoli expected in the summer, the 26-year-old is reportedly available for a transfer fee of around €75 million.

Despite ongoing links to top European clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Paris Saint-Germain, the striker’s preferred destination remains uncertain.
Arsenal Not Considering Osimhen Transfer Despite Striker Crisis
With Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus ruled out due to long-term injuries, Arsenal are expected to bolster their attacking options in the upcoming transfer window. Many have tipped Osimhen or Newcastle’s Alexander Isak as potential reinforcements, but Watts has dismissed the idea of the Gunners making a serious move for the Nigerian star.
“I always take Arsenal’s reported interest in Victor Osimhen with a pinch of salt,” Watts told Caught Offside’s The Daily Briefing.“While there was some interest in him a few years ago, I’ve seen nothing credible to suggest that Arsenal are actively pursuing him now. He’s an outstanding striker, but if he’s on Arsenal’s shortlist, he’s far from a top priority.”
Osimhen has been a key figure in Galatasaray’s title charge under Okan Buruk, helping them maintain a four-point lead over Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe in the Turkish Super Lig.
With Arsenal exploring other striking options, it appears a move for Osimhen is highly unlikely, despite the ongoing transfer speculation.
